Draft — pending legal and owner review
This privacy notice is a structural placeholder: every section a document of this kind needs is present, and every factual statement about what the platform actually does or stores is drawn from its source rather than invented. It has not been reviewed or approved by legal counsel or the platform owner, and the wording below — including the operating entity’s details, any jurisdiction, and a nominated contact — is not final. It must not be treated as Soka365’s binding policy until that review has happened and this notice is updated to say so.
What this notice covers
This notice describes what Soka365 collects about a person who uses the platform, why, and what control a reader has over it. It applies to the Soka365 web, native and Lite clients and the API that serves them.
Soka365’s football content — matches, teams, competitions, players, standings — is not personal data and is not covered here. This notice is about you, not about the football.
The short version
- All football on the platform is readable without an account.
- An account exists to hold what you declare — favourite teams, competitions and players, your preferences, and the alerts that follow from them — and nothing else.
- Nothing is inferred about you from what you read, open or scroll past.
- Every use of your data is tied to one of five named purposes, and you can see and withdraw each one individually on your Settings page.
- You can export everything the platform holds about you, or erase it permanently, from the same page.
What we collect, and why
Soka365 collects only what a reader tells it, for one of five closed purposes. The platform does not widen this list without a constitutional amendment, and it does not collect anything for advertising, engagement scoring, retention modelling or anything gambling-adjacent.
- Content findability. The teams, competitions and players you declare as favourites, used to order football surfaces around what you follow. Withdrawing this purpose keeps your declarations but stops them being applied.
- Notification relevance. Which kinds of alert you have turned on, and which delivery channels (push, email) you have registered, used to decide whether an alert is produced for you.
- Accessibility adaptation. Settings such as reduced motion, applied across every device you sign in on.
- Service diagnostics. Operating the service — whether a request succeeded, how long it took. This carries no identifier that names you and no preference value; there is no record of you held under it.
- Aggregate product insight. Population-level counts computed across everybody and attributed to nobody. No cohort, segment or profile is ever applied back to an individual reader.
Three further settings — theme, language and time zone — are account preferences rather than consent purposes: they format your own view and select no football, order no football and send nothing, so they sit outside this list rather than being filed under a purpose that does not fit.
What we do not do
Nothing is inferred about you. Soka365 does not record what you read, search for, open or dwell on, and it does not compute a reading history, an engagement score, a cohort, a predicted interest, or a nationality, health status or any other sensitive category about you. There is no “recommended for you” anywhere on the platform: what you see is either the whole product or exactly what you declared, and you are always told which.
Consent, and withdrawing it
Consent is asked one purpose at a time, never bundled, and nothing is pre-selected. Withdrawing a purpose takes effect immediately: your declarations are kept but stop being applied, and granting the purpose again restores them exactly as you left them, without you restating anything. You can see the state of every purpose, and grant or withdraw each on its own, on your Settings page.
Your rights, and where to exercise them
- Access and export. Download everything the platform holds about you, complete and unpaginated, as one file, from Settings → Your data → Export everything.
- Withdraw consent. Grant or withdraw any of the five purposes above individually, at any time, on Settings.
- Reset. Remove every declaration and preference and keep your account, from the same page.
- Erasure. Delete your account and everything attached to it — favourites, preferences, delivery endpoints, consent records and every session — irreversibly. You receive a record confirming what was removed.
[PLACEHOLDER] Where a jurisdiction grants further rights (for example rectification, or lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority), that section is added here once the platform’s registered operating entity and jurisdiction are confirmed by the owner and counsel.
Retention
Data is kept for as long as your account exists and the purpose it was collected under remains granted. Withdrawing a purpose suspends the data it governs rather than deleting it, so it can be restored if you change your mind; erasure deletes it permanently and is verified by re-reading every store afterwards rather than assumed.
Sharing and third parties
Soka365 does not sell personal data, and does not share it for advertising or marketing purposes — there is no purpose on the closed list above that would permit that use.
[PLACEHOLDER] Where the platform uses a third-party processor to operate the service (for example, to deliver a transactional email), that processor and the data-processing basis for it belongs in this section, named specifically, once the owner confirms the current vendor list. None is named here because none has been confirmed for this notice.
Cookies and local storage
See the Cookie Notice for exactly what is stored in your browser and why.
Children
[PLACEHOLDER] A minimum-age position and, if applicable, how the platform handles a account it becomes aware belongs to a child under that age, is an owner and counsel decision and is not stated here until confirmed.
Changes to this notice
Any change to this notice will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes affecting what a purpose does will be reflected in the purpose’s own description on Settings as well, since that is the text you actually agreed to when you granted it.
Contact
[PLACEHOLDER] A nominated contact for privacy questions and requests — an email address or, where required, a Data Protection Officer — is added here once named by the owner.
