Draft — pending legal and owner review
This cookie notice is a structural placeholder: every section a document of this kind needs is present, and every factual statement about what the platform actually does or stores is drawn from its source rather than invented. It has not been reviewed or approved by legal counsel or the platform owner, and the wording below — including the operating entity’s details, any jurisdiction, and a nominated contact — is not final. It must not be treated as Soka365’s binding policy until that review has happened and this notice is updated to say so.
The short version
Soka365’s web app sets one cookie. It is strictly necessary to keep you signed in, and it is not used for anything else. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party tracking of any kind on this platform.
The cookie we set
- soka365_session
- Keeps you signed in between requests. Read server-side only; no script on the page can read it. Strictly necessary — kept until you sign out, or it expires.
This cookie is set as HttpOnly (invisible to any script running on the page) and, in production, Secure (sent only over HTTPS). It is never placed in a URL, and its value is never written to a log.
No advertising, analytics or tracking cookies
Soka365 sets no cookie for advertising, retargeting, analytics or cross-site tracking, and loads no third-party script that could set one on the platform’s behalf. This is a product decision as well as a technical one: no purpose on the platform’s closed five-purpose consent list (see the Privacy Notice) covers advertising, engagement scoring or retention modelling, so there is nothing such a cookie could be used for even if one were set.
Other browser storage
Beyond the one cookie above, the platform uses two other browser-side stores, neither of which is a cookie and neither of which is shared with any other site:
- A local, offline write queue (IndexedDB). If you change a favourite or a preference while offline, the change is held on your device and sent automatically once the connection returns. It holds only what you were about to send the platform anyway.
- A service-worker cache. Caches the app’s own static assets so the platform can show something useful while offline. It does not cache your personal data or anything from your account.
Controlling cookies
Because the one cookie this platform sets is strictly necessary to keep you signed in, blocking or deleting it signs you out; it does not stop any football content from being readable, since every football surface works without an account. Your browser’s own settings control cookies for every site you visit, including this one.
Changes to this notice
If the platform ever sets a cookie beyond the one described above, this notice is updated before it does, not after.
