The World Football Atlas
The Atlas arranges football by place and by structure. It is a geographic and administrative arrangement, not a football claim: no country, competition or season is ranked above another, and the platform holds no scale that could rank them.
Territories
1 of 1 territory carrying football the platform holds. Alphabetical, collated for your language. Nothing is ordered by popularity.Levels not available
Confederation
No confederation or continent is recorded anywhere in the platform. Grouping territories by continent needs a declared, versioned mapping published as reference data; the platform holds none, and it will not group countries under a body it cannot cite.
Football association
Every competition carries a governing-body reference and every one of them is unresolved: the reference records that an association exists without naming it. A register mapping those references to associations would be reference data the platform does not have, and inventing the names is not an option.
A territory is a reference the platform resolves so you see a name instead of a code. It records where football is administered. It is not a canonical football fact and carries no claim about sovereignty or recognition.
The same list is served everywhere. The platform does not detect where you are and does not move your part of the world to the top.
0 of 1 territories carrying football are in the published register. Not in it: England. Some territories carrying football are not in the published register. The register is built from a recorded source snapshot and the football record has grown past it; those places are shown from the ISO authority instead, and nothing about them has been guessed.
